DENVER (KDVR) — Update 1:30 p.m. May 10: Denver police announced they’ve arrested Gabriel Samora and put him on investigative hold in connection to this shooting.

Original Story: Denver police said at least two males were shot in the area of 11th Avenue and Broadway on Sunday.

One suspect was taken into custody and arrested, police said. The victims were transported to the hospital. One is in critical condition, police said. No word on the condition of the other victim.

Police told FOX31 three separate scenes are being investigated and that two are connected and continue to investigate the third. Denver Fire is on scene with ladders into the Cherry Creek River along the Cherry Creek path near Cherokee Street and Speer Boulevard. Crime Scene Investigators are also working with DPD and DFD.

Westbound Speer Boulevard has been shut down around Bannock Street, stay out of the area if possible.
