SAGUACHE COUNTY, Colo. (KDVR) — Authorities arrested 45-year-old Donald Garcia of Saguache on Tuesday for the murder of 50-year-old Robert Turner Jr.
Turner was found with fatal injuries in a home in the 800 block of Gunnison Avenue early Sunday morning, according to the the Saguache County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO).
Garcia was considered armed and dangerous while police were searching for him. He was taken into custody from an abandoned camper by SCSO and Colorado State Patrol.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) worked on the investigation with SCSO and say the homicide does not have any connection to the human remains case in Conejos County.
