DJ Summers is a Digital Data Reporter at FOX31 & Channel 2. His job is to dive deep into the numbers behind local stories.
Summers graduated from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications’ journalism master’s degree program at Syracuse University. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah.
Prior to his work with FOX31, he has covered cyber security for Fortune, written policy and business analysis for the Alaska Journal of Commerce, worked as a private investigator, published a book on the budding pot trade entitled The Business of Cannabis: New Policies for a New Marijuana Industry, and worked for think tanks and consulting firms.
He enjoys Olympic weightlifting and boxing and is a classically trained pianist.
