AURORA, Colo. — Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates addressed the media Friday morning from the scene of the Aurora theater shooting that has a left 12 dead and over 50 wounded. That report is current as of 6:21 a.m., Friday morning.

There is a suspect in custody, and that man is reportedly James Holmes, 24, of North Aurora. Police reported that they found Holmes at the back of the theater with three weapons — a handgun, a shotgun and an assault rifle. He was wearing a riot helmet, a gas mask and a bullet proof vest and told police he was in possession of homemade explosives.
