LAKEWOOD, Colo. (KDVR) — West Metro Fire Rescue responded to an apartment fire in the 5500 block of West 4th Avenue Thursday night.
The fire occurred in a second story apartment.
One person was seriously injured and transported to a hospital.
A second person was injured and is being evaluated.
The fire was caused from highly flammable vapors from Goof-off cleaning solvent, which was ignited by the furnace pilot light.
