DENVER — A person was struck and killed by an RTD A Line train in Denver’s Stapleton neighborhood Saturday afternoon. It occurred at the Central Park Station, the same place where a person was struck and killed Friday night.

The Denver Police Department said its officers are at the scene and it is being investigated as “a non-criminal event.”

An RTD spokesperson said passengers cannot board the train at the station, as it is a crime scene. RTD is using buses to shuttle passengers between the 40th and Colorado Station and the 40th and Airport Station.

The spokesperson added that A Line trains are running on single-track service, so rides are delayed by about 30 minutes. Riders who are enrolled in text or email alerts should be notified of the changes.
