PUEBLO, Colo. — The Stonemoor Fire that burned just west of Pueblo city limits was 100 percent contained Sunday afternoon, according to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office, and all evacuation orders were lifted.

As of 6:25 p.m. Saturday, the fire had burned 217 acres. No final acreage estimate was given at the time authorities announced full containment.
Employees at the Nature and Raptor Centers have also been allowed to return.
Both air and ground crews had a hand in fighting the fire.
Highway 96 has reopened.
No homes have been damaged and no injuries have been reported.
The grass fire began midday Friday.
