ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — A woman was arrested Thursday in connection to the stabbing death of a woman at a Federal Boulevard motel earlier in the day, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office said Friday.

Maria Guadalupe Morado, 23, was arrested without incident at 4 p.m. in the 7300 block of Quivas Street, the sheriff’s office said.

She has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to the stabbing that took place at the White Rock Motel at West 55th Place and Federal Boulevard about 1:30 a.m. Thursday.

Deputies responded to a disturbance call at the motel and found a woman who had been stabbed. She was taken to a hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.

The victim’s name and age have not been released.
