WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald Trump continued to speak out about the election on Twitter on Sunday after Green Party officials filed for a recount in Wisconsin on Friday.
The Green Party launched the effort after reports of possible voting discrepancies in areas that used paper ballots as opposed to those where electronic voting took place.
On Saturday, Trump called it “ridiculous” and a “scam.”
On Sunday, Trump claimed he won the popular vote “if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally.”
In addition to winning the Electoral College in a landslide, I won the popular vote if you deduct the millions of people who voted illegally

Trump also said it would have been “much easier” to win the “so-called popular vote” if the Electoral College didn’t exist.
It would have been much easier for me to win the so-called popular vote than the Electoral College in that I would only campaign in 3 or 4–

states instead of the 15 states that I visited. I would have won even more easily and convincingly (but smaller states are forgotten)!

Trump has also said the recount effort was nothing but a fundraising ploy by the Green Party and its nominee, Jill Stein.
Stein has raised more than $5 million for the recount in Wisconsin, which might begin sometime next week.
The Hillary Clinton campaign and the White House have said they see no evidence that any voting systems were hacked.
Even so, Clinton’s campaign said Saturday it will join Stein and take part in the recounts.
Trump said Clinton conceded the election and “nothing will change.”
Hillary Clinton conceded the election when she called me just prior to the victory speech and after the results were in. Nothing will change
