LOCHBUIE, Colo. — The woman who recorded video of the alleged abuse of a toddler shared her story Thursday.

The video captured a mother screaming at and threatening her 2-year-old son over a missing cellphone charger.

The woman, who wishes to remain anonymous, posted the video, shot in late April, to YouTube and several viewers shared their outrage in hundreds of Facebook messages, comments and emails.

The mother, 27-year-old Katrina Kennedy, has been arrested and charged with child abuse.

And the woman who shot the video has also been charged with child abuse. She’s accused of not doing anything to stop the abuse during the 16-minute video. She said she has physical problems and wished she could have done something.

Still, she believes the video is the reason the 2-year-old is in good hands and is no longer under the care of the mother.
