DENVER — Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning has a message for the hometown crowd: Keep it down, you kids!

Late in Thursday night’s successful outing against the San Diego Chargers, Manning kept signaling for the crowd to quiet down so he could communicate with his offense. But the fired-up fans just couldn’t contain themselves. Eventually, Manning was forced to kill the play and simply shake his head.

Later, the QB also expressed frustration with the scoreboard operator at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

“I’ve got a problem with our scoreboard operator,” he said. “He’s playing music, showing players dancing and getting the crowd fired up when we have the ball. It wasn’t his best night.”
