GREELEY, Colo. — The United States Geological Survey confirmed a 3.4 magnitude earthquake about three miles northeast of Greeley Saturday evening.

The quake struck about six miles from Evans and 13 miles east of Windsor.

The earthquake occurred shortly after 9:30 p.m. No major damage or injuries were reported.

The quake was initially rated a 3.7 on the Richter scale before being downgraded.

The last earthquake recorded in Colorado occurred on Aug. 23, 2011, when a quake of magnitude 5.3 struck near Trinidad.
